For those of you who are regular users of EA Link™, you'll know how easy it is to purchase and download your favourite EA games. In the next few weeks EA Link is being replaced with a brand new EA Store website dedicated to downloadable PC games as well as other content such as patches, demos and trailers. The new site will make searching and buying games really simple with easy navigation and step by step guide to downloading.

Here's a sneak preview of the new website...

How does it work?

1. Look for this icon. It indicates that the item is available for direct download.

2. Purchase the downloadable item as you would any other item by adding it to your cart and paying for it when you're ready to check out.

3. After you complete the purchase, a Thank You page appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to download your game(s) with the EA Download Manager.

If you are an existing EA Link customer, the move over to the new platform couldn’t be easier. The next time you open up your EA Link desktop application following the launch, it will automatically upgrade to the new EA Download Manager - its that simple!

The EA Download Manager holds all your game entitlement information and all your existing game entitlement data held in the old desktop application will be transferred automatically to the new Download Manager.

If you are new to EA Link, after the website launches and you purchase your first game, you will see a link to download the EA Link Download Manager on the order confirmation page. Simply follow the instructions and you’re away!

Look out for further details of the new website in the next EA Newsletter.
