IF you are receiving an "Insert Correct CD" or "Cannot detect CD-ROM" error message please try the following.

1.) Try placing the CD in another CDROM device and running the game.

We have found that the game works best by placing the game in the device with the lowest drive letter.
For example a drive D will have priority over a drive H.

2.) Try placing an audio CD in the other drive(s).

3.) Uninstall & Reinstall;

Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game on the drive with the lowest drive letter.

4.) Close all background tasks except EXPLORER and SYSTRAY.

This can be done by holding down the CTRL and ALT keys and by tapping the DELETE key once. This will bring up a close program window. Then highlight a program other than EXPLORER and SYSTRAY and then select END TASK. The window will close, repeat the process until all items that are not EXPLORER and SYSTRAY are gone. If a message tells you the program is not responding for some reason, click END TASK on that message and continue.

Check:

Be sure that if you have the CD-PLAYER of Microsoft Windows Plus package that it is disabled and not running in the background.

Be sure that if you have the VIRTUAL CD program that it is disabled and not running in the background. One customer did uninstall it, and no longer gets the error.

Be sure that if you have the DELUXE CD program that it is disabled and not running in the background.
